  • Introductory Statement

    Regis HR Group and Fortune International Group (“Worksite Employer”) have entered into a co-employment relationship. This means that you are employed by both Regis HR Group and your Worksite Employer. You are employed by both Regis HR Group and your Worksite Employer at will. This means that all parties have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without cause or notice.

    This statement of the employment-at-will relationship is the entire agreement between you, Regis HR Group and your Worksite Employer as to the duration of employment, including notice, procedure and grounds for termination. This Handbook supersedes any prior or
    contemporaneous agreements, representations, understandings or arrangements, whether written or unwritten. This Handbook cannot be modified without the express, written agreement of Regis HR Group and your Worksite Employer.

    Should the decision be made to terminate the co-employment agreement between Regis HR Group and your Worksite Employer, Regis HR Group may elect not to continue your employment. If Regis HR Group does not receive payment from your Worksite Employer for any workweek for your employment services, Regis HR Group will pay you the minimum wage
    or the legal required minimum salary for any wages reported by your Worksite Employer.

    This employee handbook will give you important information about working at Fortune
    International Group. The policies in the handbook explain many of the benefits of working here. However, this employee handbook cannot cover every situation or answer every question about policies and benefits at Fortune International Group. Also, we may need to change the handbook. Fortune International Group has the right to add new policies, change policies, or cancel policies at any time and without prior notice.

    The management of Fortune International Group (FIG) has a sincere desire to provide a pleasant and safe working environment for all employees, and in turn, expects all to contribute to creating a harmonious workplace. In order to accomplish this objective, we want to acquaint you with our benefits, policies, and procedure. This Employee Manual (Manual) will provide important information and guidance regarding FIG’s employee benefits, policies and procedures will answer questions about your employee with FIG.

    Please note this Manual is not intended to create a contract or employment. This Manual is only intended to provide general information and guidelines for you to follow. FIG reserves the right at any time, to modify, rescind, or supplement any or all the benefits, policies, and/or procedures contained in this Manual and take any action it deems necessary for FIG’s effective operation. If you are in doubt about whether an official change has been made, please check with management before you take action. Please ask your supervisor if you have any questions. Your questions are important to us!

  • About the Organization

    FIG is a dynamic group composed of four core companies providing a complete spectrum of real estate services. Depending on your function as an employee, you will be integral part of one of these companies that lend different value and support service to our projects and clients. These companies and their respective functions are listed below.

    FORTUNE INTERNATIONAL EQUITY CORP. (FIE) – FIE’S primary roles include maintenance of investor relations and funding structures, the direction of capitalization of projects, and the management of financial and administrative aspects of FIG projects.

    FORTUNE DEVELOPMENT CORP (FDC) – FDC’s functions are in the area of product definition and development. FDC provides our clients with the design conceptualization, and coordination of the different development stages of FIG real estate ventures.

    FORTUNE DEVELOPMENT SALES CORP. (FDS) – FDS is a licensed real estate brokerage company. FDS represent the sales staff of FIG real estate projects and provides the marketing services and personnel of both FIG’s developments and external projects.

    FORTUNE INTERNATIONAL REALTY BRICKELL, Inc. (FIRB) – FIRB is responsible for all general real estate deals generated by its affiliated brokers in the Miami-Dade county areas. With its various strategic locations, FIRB targets areas such as Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Brickell/Downtown and Key Biscayne.

    FORTUNE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION (FDnC) – FDnC functions are to provide build out services to its development customers. The build-out services entail converting unfinished units into move-in ready units. This includes but is not limited to the installation of flooring, painting, baseboards and closet systems.

  • Communication

    We understand the importance of open communications and the valuable contributions you make that add to FIG’s success. Consequently, there are many avenues for you to provide your thoughts and suggestions, get answers to your questions, or have your problems addressed. The primary resources at your disposal to address such matters are your supervisors or managers. In addition, a list of key contacts and phone numbers will be distributed periodically to all employees.

  • Your Supervisor or Manager

    Your supervisor or manager is your best and fastest source of information and generally should be your starting point to help you with your questions or problems. He or she will answer your questions or guide you to the sources that can. In the event you and your supervisor/manager do not agree on something, or if a particular issue makes it more appropriate, you can contact the Human Resources Department, but remember, you and your work are important to your supervisor/manager. He or she will try very hard to work out any problems and find the answers for you.
